Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Key-Art (Jake Kontou)
Neil Druckmann recently sat down with Buzzfeed for an interview about The Last of Us. His initial answers were about the show and the future of the franchise but one answer gave Naughty Dog fans a glimpse at what the future entails for the Uncharted franchise.
He went on to confirm that Naughty Dog has seen massive success with Uncharted 4 but is ready to “Move on” from the franchise.
“Uncharted 4 was one of our best selling games and we’re able to put our final brushstroke on that story and say that we’re done. We’re moving on.”
While Naughty Dog might be done with Uncharted, it’s possible that another developer will take over development of the franchise as reported late last year.
